Bedford Commons OB-GYN is providing skin care treatments to women and men as an enhancement to the comprehensive women’s health services they have providing over the past 22 years. More and more women and men are looking for treatments to diminish the signs of aging and sun-damaged skin. Bedford Commons OB-GYN is one of the first in our area to offer the latest in non-invasive cosmetic treatments for skin rejuvenation. The treatments are a good alternative to cosmetic surgery because they are delivered conveniently on-site at Bedford Commons OB-GYN and there is no down time.

The IPL™ (Intense Pulsed Light) technology and lasers provide treatment for skin rejuvenation, permanent hair reduction and the removal of spider and varicose veins. Since state-of-the-art laser machines are used to beam light onto the skin, the treatments are non-invasive and safe for sensitive skin. Now it is possible to repair sun damage, broken capillaries, skin discoloration, age spots, lines and wrinkles simply. Various pigments within the skin absorb the wavelength of the laser light from the machine. By focusing the beams of light on specific areas of the skin, spider veins and skin damage can be removed, and dark hair from face, legs, back, underarms and bikini areas can be permanently reduced.
