Christina is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and the Practice Administrator at Bedford Commons OB-GYN. She received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Boston College and her master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania.
Christina is often asked why she went into women’s health. She thinks that one of the most important aspects of women’s health is making it a comfortable environment for women. Although she can’t say that she’s met any women who LOVE getting a pap smear, she feels that visiting the gynecologist can be a good experience. Her career goal is making every woman who she sees comfortable during their visit. Christina spends a lot of time with our adolescent patients just getting to know them – this helps young women share more openly about their health concerns.
In addition to her clinical education and experience, Christina is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. Her clinical areas of interest include obstetrical care, adolescent gynecology, vulvar dermatology, and family planning.
When she’s not in the office, Christina enjoys hiking the mountains of New Hampshire with her husband, daughter, and son. Christina also loves to bake – she’s famous in the office for her homemade chocolate chip cookies! You can pick up a recipe in our office recipe book found in our waiting room.
