Patient Code of Conduct

Patient Code of Conduct

At Bedford Commons OBGYN, we are dedicated to offering exceptional care in a friendly, inclusive environment. Our Patient Code of Conduct is designed to help us achieve this goal. We ask that everyone in our office treats each other with kindness and respect.  Words or actions that are disrespectful, racist, discriminatory, hostile, or harassing are not welcome.

Examples of these include:

  • Offensive comments about someone’s race, accent, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other personal trait.
  • Refusing to see a clinician or staff member based on these personal traits.
  • Making physical or verbal threats or engaging in any form of assault.
  • Using sexual or vulgar language or actions.
  • Disrupting another patient’s care or experience.

If we believe the Code of Conduct has been violated, we will invite you to share your perspective. However, serious or repeated violations may result in being asked to seek care elsewhere. In such cases, we will provide emergency care for 30 days.

If you witness or experience any of these behaviors, please inform a member of our care team immediately.

Thank you for helping us maintain a positive and respectful environment for everyone!
