Dr. Shay is a graduate of Chicago Medical School and finished her residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago.
Her clinical areas of interest include well-woman care, high-risk obstetrics, and ultrasound.
Outside of work, Dr. Shay enjoys painting, swimming, travel and spending time with her kids and family. Dr. Shay lives at home with her husband, two daughters, and two cats. A fun fact about Dr. Shay is that her first job was at age 13, detasseling corn in Iowa.
Dr. Shay states, “My goal is to provide compassionate care that is tailored to an individual’s need. I love building a relationship with patients and listening to their concerns. Together we can make shared decisions about their health care throughout all the phases of their life, from contraceptive choices, relationship issues, pregnancy, surgery options, and menopause. Nothing is more rewarding than having patients return each year because they are extremely satisfied with their healthcare.
