Polyxeni S. Rounds
Dr. Rounds is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire and received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Bowdoin College in Maine.
Following medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, she completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Rochester where she received numerous awards, including the Ward L. Ekas Award for Leadership in Residency. Dr. Rounds is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and holds memberships in numerous professional societies and associations.
Dr. Rounds’ areas of clinical special interest include breast care, colposcopy and the holistic aspects of health care. She enjoys her multiple roles as a wife, mother of three children, gardener, Greek “chef” (reflecting her heritage), chicken farmer, and occasional trout fisherman in the springtime.
