Ryan Lena
Dr. Ryan Lena grew up in Orono, Maine, and graduated from Tufts University cum laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After four years working at a biotechnology startup, he pursued his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine as a member of the Maine Track program, where he did his clinical rotations in rural Norway, Maine. While there, he became passionate about women’s and reproductive health, and ultimately completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tower Health – Reading Hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania. During his training, he developed interests in high-risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including robotic surgery.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys running, skiing, and cooking with his family; he also has a lifelong interest in music, listening to records, and playing violin and guitar in his spare time. He is committed to providing compassionate and inclusive healthcare to all his patients. He is excited to have the opportunity to provide critical medical care to patients in New Hampshire as part of the Bedford Commons OBGYN team.
